The Integrated Digital Media BS and MS programs are defined by a blend of theory and practice. The explosion of Apple's iphone store, Facebook, podcasts, Wii, Twitter, and user generated content sites like Youtube signal the meteoric rise of digital media for communication, commerce and entertainment. Research on digital media has also exploded with recent studies into sound, gaming and augmented reality. Few academic programs unite theory and practice of digital media the way NYU-Poly does. As the second oldest private institute of technology in the U.S., we have the expertise and resources to support this integration.
